Shiny Brite chronicles the adventures (and misadventures) of a two-mama family living in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The two moms are Melisa and Chrissy and the two kids we’re trying to raise without screwing up too badly are Jasper and Magnolia.

Melisa is an online writer and editor who has worked most recently for Parents.com and CafeMom. You can read more of her writing here.

Chrissy is a big-time book publishing executive who owns a lot of shoes.

We’re blogging about the things that make our lives as parents better — food, shopping, travel, gear, and anything else that strikes our fancy. We occasionally complain here, too, about the things that annoy us.

I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago while searching for a BPA free lunch pale and thermos for my son. Good stuff! Thanks!

So glad you found the post useful and have stopped back! Let me know if you find anything good out there for lunch boxes; I get the best ideas from other moms.
