We Rocked The Bell House

There’s not much snow left on the ground, but it’s still freezing in Brooklyn, which means parents of young children all over the borough are desperate for indoor activities. How much will we pay for a bouncy castle and access to coffee and Bloody Marys? No price is too high.

We dropped 40 bucks this morning ($10 per person at The Bell House in Gowanus), but it bought us 2 solid hours of entertainment and physical exertion for the kids. And we were far from alone.

The music venue periodically hosts The Bell House Rocks, an indoor party for families. This one came with a giant, slithery, crawl-through dragon of a bouncy castle with a long slide at the end. Snacks were lacking — the previously promised free popcorn and juice were nowhere to be seen when we were there, but, still, it was fun.
