Valentine’s Day Cards, a Brooklyn Tweet-Up, Baby Names, and Comfort Food

Olliegraphic Valentine's Day Collection

Have I mentioned how much I hate snow? OK, I know, I have. A lot. But more is supposedly headed our way, so in an effort to stay somewhat positive about life, I’ve pulled together a few things I’m enjoying at the moment….

We bought plane tickets to Europe for the month of July yesterday. Yippeeeeee! (And more on that later.)

The spaghetti and meatballs we made last night from The Family Kitchen were pretty much a hit and I would totally recommend them.

[Pictured above.] Loving these adorable personalized Valentine’s Day cards I saw on Daily Find: ohdeedoh.

Read on All About Fifth that there’s a Brooklyn Tweet-Up tomorrow night.

Have started checking Pardon Me For Asking regularly and found two interesting deets: Proteus Gowanus now offers a quiet work space for writers and HGTV is looking for a NYC family to be featured in a new design show. Yes, they will DESIGN a room or rooms in your house for you. (You have to pay for it, but still.)

Kids love bathroom humor, which means they are going to love a cute new app called My Underwear from a beloved children’s book author. Cool Mom Tech turned me onto it.

Always obsessed with baby names — and my friends Ellen and Kyre are expecting soon and on the hunt for one — so I was curious to check out this list of popular names and substitutes that are cool but not-yet so well known.

Last — dreaming of a big bowl of the Smitten Kitchen‘s Vanilla Bean Pudding. Oh, yeah. Yum.
